66 arrested, 135 charges filed in Chambers County narcotics operations

CHAMBERS COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) — A three-month narcotics operation across Chambers County has resulted in 66 arrests and 135 drug-related charges, according to a press release issued Tuesday by the Chambers County Drug Task Force.

Between April 1 and June 30, 2025, the Task Force—alongside the Chambers County Multi-Jurisdictional SWAT Team, Sheriff’s Office, and police departments in Valley, LaFayette, and Lanett—executed eight search warrants and conducted numerous traffic stops and targeted operations aimed at disrupting illegal drug activity in the region.

The arrests span a wide range of offenses involving methamphetamine, crack and powder cocaine, prescription pills, synthetics, fentanyl, psilocybin, and marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia charges. Several individuals were charged with trafficking, distribution, or intent to distribute narcotics—felony-level crimes with mandatory minimum sentences.
