Shreve Memorial Library urges community to stay cool this summer

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreve Memorial Library is inviting guests to visit their branches to stay cool from the summer heat.

“As temperatures continue to climb, Shreve Memorial Library branches, conveniently located throughout Caddo Parish, are cool places to take a break from the scorching heat and humidity. With comfortable seating areas, water fountains, and a variety of library programs and services, Shreve Memorial Library encourages patrons to read, relax, and rest during hot summer days,” a press release stated.

All SML branches will serve as cooling centers and provide complimentary bottled water at no charge from now through Sunday, September 21. To learn more about library services, hours, programs, and updates, go to shreve-lib.org.
