(KRON) — A New American restaurant and bar in San Francisco opened nearly a decade ago in 2016. Horsefeather has become a community staple in the North of the Panhandle neighborhood (NoPa).
Horsefeather has now opened its first outpost in Palo Alto, where a grand opening was held on Friday, June 27, the restaurant announced in a news release. The Palo Alto restaurant is located at 855 El Camino Real in the Town & Country Village shopping center.
The newly opened Horsefeather is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends. It is closed on Monday. Horsefeather said weekend brunch is “coming soon.”
Horsefeather will also have a pet-friendly patio that is open from mid-to-late summer, according to the news release. The menu will feature 16 different cocktails — spearheaded by longtime Horsefeather SF General Manager Dzu Nguyen — that include several non-alcoholic options. The full Palo Alto menu can be viewed here.
The restaurant’s menu comes from Executive Chef Johanna Frégoso Ruiz. Ruiz, who leads the kitchen in the San Francisco location, has experience working for Michelin-starred Aziza, the release states. Horsefeather in Palo Alto is about one mile away from Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto.
Horsefeather’s San Francisco location is at 528 Divisadero St. Its Instagram page has amassed more than 6,000 followers.
