Here’s a day-by-day breakdown of all the patriotic fun happening in the Charlotte area.

Tuesday, July 1

Cook Out Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway

  • Time: 5-9 p.m.
  • Place: Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord, NC
  • Cost: $15 (free for kids under 12 and military)
  • Features: Racing, family fun, and fireworks

Wednesday, July 2

Lowe’s YMCA Independence Day Celebration

  • Time: All day
  • Place: Lowe’s YMCA, Mooresville
  • Cost: Free
  • Features: Field of Flags: Each flag has the name of a veteran, fallen or active service member, or first responder

Thursday, July 3

SkyShow 2025 (Uptown Charlotte)

  • Time: Game at 6:05 p.m., fireworks after
