CEDAR CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A body was found in Cedar Canyon just outside of Cedar City Friday night, according to the Iron County Sheriff’s Office.
Just after 7:35 p.m. on June 27, Iron County deputies responded to a report of a deceased individual found along Coal Creek, between mileposts 3 and 4 on SR-14 in Cedar Canyon.
Upon arrival, deputies found the body of a deceased woman, around 60 years of age, beneath a bush near Coal Creek. Her death is not believed to be suspicious at this time.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld at this time pending further investigation.
