Local businessman working to help men prioritize emotional well-being

CHICAGO — June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month and a local businessman is working to help men express themselves and prioritize their emotional well-being.

Mental Hood Culture is creating a safe space for Black men to heal, connect and grow.

Mental Hood Culture founder Victor Love and Dr. George Smith, a psychologist, joined WGN News on Saturday morning to discuss how they are working to tackle the stigma.
