Baxter Marion Water Association entire system offline

A main break has disrupted service Friday morning to the entire customer base of the Baxter Marion County Water Association.

Crews from the association which has 191 customers in Oakland, Promise Land and along Highway 5 North have been working to diagnose the source of the break and report they are working in a heavily wooded and hilly area slowing progress.
