(KRON) — The Vallejo Police Department is looking to identify a fourth suspect and recover a firearm after a man was robbed at gunpoint of his $2,000 gold dental grill, $800 in cash and wallet in an apartment building last Sunday.
The incident happened on June 22 on the 100 block of Larissa Lane. The victim told VPD he was confronted while he was walking through the apartment complex by one armed suspect who demanded he empty his pockets while the other suspects surrounded then robbed him.
Vallejo PD said the suspects fled the scene, but three of them were soon arrested nearby.
“A black mask, believed to have been used in the crime, was recovered at the scene and booked into evidence. Unfortunately, the firearm used in the robbery was not located,” said police in a social media post.
Two adults were booked into the Solano County Jail while the third individual, confirmed as a juvenile, was booked into the Solano County Juvenile Detention Facility, said VPD.
“The Vallejo Police Department would like to thank the victim and the vigilant community members for their timely reporting and cooperation, which led to multiple arrests and the removal of an armed robbery crew from our streets,” added police.
