ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Nonprofits have the chance to apply for funding that would help multiple stateline county residents.
Winnebago, Boone, Ogle and Stephenson county nonprofits will be awarded $1.7 million in total from the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.
Grant proposals will be accepted in arts and humanities, basic needs and compassionate support, career pathways, complementary education, dignity and respect, health, sustainable communities and youth and family areas.
There will be two sessions for nonprofits to learn more on July 10, at 3:30 p.m., at Midway Village, and July 11, at 11 a.m., via Zoom.
