A disturbance moving in from the east should increase rain chances back to the 50-60% range later today. Thursday is starting warm, muggy, and mostly quiet. Scattered showers and storms look more widespread during the afternoon compared to yesterday’s activity. Regardless, highs will reach the lower 90s with a heat index hotter than 100° in much of the area.
