WEST FORK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The National Weather Service in Tulsa confirmed June 24 that an EF1 tornado touched down near West Fork.
The tornado developed east of Highway 71, along Mineral Springs Road. It moved east along that road, severely damaging a couple of outbuildings, uprooting multiple trees and snapping numerous large tree limbs.
Officials said the tornado had an estimated peak wind speed of 90 to 100 miles per hour and had a path length of 2.3 miles.
This is the 58th confirmed tornado for 2025 in Arkansas.
