Mountain Home City Council approves single item on agenda in special meeting

It took just five minutes for the Mountain Home City Council to approve the one item they had on the agenda Tuesday night in a special session. The council approved an ordinance to accept the final plat and public dedications for Glenbriar Commons Phase 2C located at Huron Court. The ordinance passed on a 7-0 vote with councilman Bob Van Haaren absent.

The council’s regular meeting last Thursday, the last scheduled meeting of the month, was cancelled because of the Juneteenth holiday and because several members of the council were out of town for the Arkansas Municipal League Conference in Little Rock. The special meeting was needed to get the final plat approved before the developer’s July 1 deadline.
