Law enforcement with multiple local agencies was looking for three males who ran from a car after a high-speed chase along I-70, near McDowell Creek Road on June 26, according to a law enforcement report shortly after midnight.
“All three are considered to be dangerous,” the report said. “Please secure your residence. If you notice anything suspicious or encounter them, call 9—1-1. DO NOT Approach them.”
Just before 9 a.m. on June 26, law enforcement reported the primary suspect had been located. Law enforcement searching the vehicle used in teh chase found 84 pounds of marijuana and more than $18,000 in cash.
“While it is believed that the other individuals who fled the scene are no longer in the immediate area, residents in the McDowell Creek area are encouraged to remain vigilant,” Sanner said. “If you observe any suspicious individuals or behavior, please contact 911 immediately.
