Man arrested after deadly Corcoran shooting, police say

CORCORAN, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a deadly Corcoran shooting earlier this month.

Just after midnight, on June 12, officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Claire Avenue. There, police found a man who had been shot.

Officers attempted to provide first aid, but the man was ultimately declared dead on the scene.

34-year-old Adam Anaya

During the investigation, police identified 34-year-old Adam Anaya of Corcoran as the suspect. Officers say he was located on June 19 at around 9:10 p.m. and arrested under suspicion of homicide.
