(WPHL) — It’s Wawa Hoagie Day, and if you haven’t made plans or packed a lunch, you’re in luck because Wawa is giving out 25,000 hoagies today.
If a FREE hoagie sounds like something you need, head to the National Constitution Center at noon.
Known as one of the biggest events of Wawa’s Welcome America Festival,
Over 150 Wawa employees, along with special Hoagie Day MVPs such as Eagles player Brandon Graham, will work to build, prepare, and serve 25,000 hoagies.
The first 7,500 hoagies will go to Philabundance to help fight hunger in the Philadelphia region.
2,500 additional hoagies will be handed off to representatives of the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia and the Veterans Multi-Service Center at a dedicated “Heroes Lane” on the side of the National Constitution Center from 10 am – 11 am.
The remaining 15,000 hoagies will be served free to the public at noon on Arch Street between 5th and 6th Streets.
