INDIANAPOLIS – A man was injured in a late Wednesday night shooting on the near northwest side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 11:40 p.m. to the 500 block of Eugene Street.
Police found a man suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital.
IMPD didn’t disclose the extent of the man’s injuries, saying only that he was in stable condition and was “awake and breathing” when officers found him.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
