GARLAND (KDAF) — After decades of defining the sound of Tejano music, Grammy-winning icon Elida Reyna is taking her final bow. On Oct. 17 at 9 p.m., the vocalist and her band, Elida y Avante, are saying farewell with a heartfelt tour that’s hitting the Granville Arts Center.
Known for hits like Duele, Luna Llena, and Lo Nuestro, the band promises a night of gratitude and powerhouse performances. Backed by longtime collaborators Cande Aguilar, Jr. (accordion), Noel Hernandez (bass), Leroy Villanueva (drums), Juan Martinez (keyboards), Randy Villarreal (guitar), and Epifanio Martinez (percussion, bajo sexto)—this final tour is a moment for one of the most beloved Tejano groups of all time.
