(KRON) — The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after three gas stations were robbed in Castro Valley Wednesday morning.
Sheriff’s deputies responded at 5:47 a.m. to the 76 Gas Station at 2445 Castro Valley Boulevard on the report of a robbery. The suspects stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing, according to the sheriff’s office, and no victims were physically injured in the incident.
During the investigation, deputies learned of two additional gas stations that were also robbed along Castro Valley Boulevard. The suspects stole cash and cigarettes in these incidents as well, the sheriff’s office said.
Authorities said they have “limited information” on the robbery suspects and the vehicle. No further details were released.
“We are coordinating with neighboring law enforcement agencies, who may have experienced similar incidents, to determine whether these robberies are connected,” the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a statement.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office non-emergency number at 510-667-7721.
