Titans and Minden alum L’Jarius Sneed ready to return to football after a year of injury

MINDEN, LA (KTAL/KMSS) — Minden alum and Tennessee Titans L’Jarius Sneed was back in town, giving back to his community by holding youth football camps and making appearances at a local David Raines Community Health Center event.

After winning two Super Bowls with the Chiefs, the former fourth-round pick was traded to Tennessee last season. Sneed spent his first season as a Titan sidelined due to injury, but he is anxiously awaiting his return.

“Getting healthy, I’m healthy as I’ve been. Last year, my first year, didn’t go as planned but its time to come out and show the world what God’s been instilling in me this entire year,” Sneed said. “I’m ready to get back on the field. That’s my life, that’s what I do for a living. I have to remind everyone who L’Jarius Sneed is.”

Players report to Titans Training Camp on July 22, with the first day on field coming the following day on July 23.
