PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a man wanted in connection with a shooting on a Broad Street Line platform in North Philadelphia.
The shooting happened around 1 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, a 17-year-old female was shot in her right leg on a platform at the Cecil B. Moore Station on the Broad Street Line. Three 9mm spent shell casings were recovered from the scene.
Temple University Police Officers took the victim to Temple University Hospital for treatment.
Investigators are looking for the man, pictured below, wearing a white tank top, black shorts, and a black Under Armour backpack. Police describe him as a man in his late teens, about 5’5″ to 5’7″ tall, with a medium build, and short dreadlocks.
Police believe the shooting was from an argument.
