PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A McMinnville man was arrested and accused of sexually abusing a family babysitter, a minor at the time, more than a decade ago, authorities said.

Jeremy Roy Nettrouer allegedly committed the abuse in rural McMinnville between 2011 and 2012, the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office said. In addition, authorities said he may have had more victims.

The babysitter was working for Nettrouer’s family at the time, officials said.

Deputies arrested Nettrouer in McMinnville on Wednesday and he was booked into the Yamhill County Correctional Facility. He faces one charge of first-degree sex abuse.

Nettrouer worked as a youth sports coach and referee in the past. Investigators said because of his current allegations and his past access to minors, they’re concerned he may have had additional victims.

Anyone with information about the case or potential other incidents involving Netrrouer is encouraged to contact the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office.
