15-year-old shot boy shot on West Side

CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy was shot on the West Side Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the 3800 block of West Fillmore on the report of a shooting.

A 15-year-old boy was walking on the sidewalk when an unknown suspect began shooting, according to CPD.

The boy was shot in the left thigh and was transported in serious condition.

No one is in custody. Anyone with information can leave an anonymous tip at cpdtip.com.
