The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find those responsible for breaking into a home and stealing hard drives of unedited video footage for an unreleased film.
The break-in happened on May 26 around 2 a.m., at a home on the 22000 block of Wyandotte Street in West Hills.
The home was operating as an active film set for an unnamed production.
According to LAPD, suspects entered the residence and took three hard drives that contained countless hours of unedited footage from the film.
Neither a potential motive or suspect descriptions were provided in an LAPD news release.
Police did not say if the film was a studio or amateur production, but are still urging anyone with information to come forward.
