SFPD investigates suspicious package at U.S. Customs building

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Police Department is asking people Tuesday morning to avoid a street outside the U.S. Customs and Border Protection building due to a suspicious package investigation.

Emergency crews responded to 555 Battery Street between Washington and Jackson streets around 11 a.m. Photos of the scene show SF Fire personnel and police vehicles outside the federal building.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays in the area.
