Rockford woman accused of attacking a woman with a razor is in custody
Rockford woman accused of attacking a woman with a razor is in custody

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Cashinique Turner, 25, after she was accused of attacking a woman with a razor.

Officers started a follow-up investigation on May 19 for the incident, which took place on April 28. Authorities spoke with the victim at Swedish American Hospital on East State the day of the incident.

The victim told officials she and Turner were arguing on FaceTime and agreed to fight at the corner of 7th and Miller Avenues.

When the fight started, Turner used a razor blade to cut the victim around 7 times, according to court records.

Tuner was eventually taken into custody and taken to the Winnebago County Jail.

She is charged with aggravated battery that caused great bodily harm and aggravated battery while using a deadly weapon.
