PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland Winterhawks released their 2025-26 regular-season schedule on Tuesday ahead of their 50th Anniversary season.
There will be a total of 68 regular-season games (34 home and 34 away), starting on Friday, September 19, with a rematch of the first round of the 2025 playoffs against the Prince George Cougars at the CN Centre in Canada.
This season not only marks 50 years of “Hawkey” but will also feature the newly renovated Memorial Coliseum. Their first home game is later in the season on Saturday, October 25 due to the renovations. There will be a number of special theme nights throughout the year which will be announced later. The Hawks will take on rival Seattle eight times, the most of any WHL opponent.
