Newman running back Jake Randle commits to Tulane

NEW ORLEANS — Newman running back Jake Randle received an offer from Tulane after an impressive showing at their camp on June 8th.

Two weeks later, Newman’s standout running back announced his commitment to Jon Sumrall and the Green Wave.

“That’s been a dream school of mine for a while now, and I’m just excited to see where that takes me,” said Newman running back Jake Randle.

Randle’s recruitment started to pick up after a junior campaign that eclipsed nearly 1,100 yards and 18 touchdowns in the Greenies’ undefeated finish to the 2024 regular season.

He chose Tulane over offers from Lamar, Army, and Air Force as well as Ivy League institutions like Dartmouth, Columbia, and Cornell.
