McHur Care celebrates new Amarillo location with grand opening on June 26

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Amarillo is set to open a McHur Care location after recently opening locations in Lubbock, Dumas, and Plainview.

According to the McHur Care press release, McHur Care is a provider of Medicaid-covered mental health services for children and families.

“McHur Care is dedicated to advancing social and mental wellness through compassionate, professional services,” said McHur Care officials. “As a franchise of Texas Care, we strive to empower individuals, families, and communities by fostering a supportive environment that encourages personal growth and well-being. Dedicated to helping Texas communities thrive, McHur Care will open 30 locations across the state in 2025.”

The grand opening celebration for this location is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 26 at Sam Houston Park. This free event will feature face paintings, inflatables, live
DJ, foam party machine, pizza, nachos, and more.
