WHITE COUNTY, Ark. – Authorities in White County said a man being sought in Texas was arrested after a chase on Interstate 57 on Monday.
According to the White County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were asked to locate a stolen car and Clyde Stephens in connection with a double murder investigation in Texas. WCSO officials said Stephens also had an outstanding arrest warrant in Texas for theft of a vehicle.
After finding the car and Stephens in Higginson, police said a pursuit began.
WCSO officials said a deputy ended the pursuit around the 42-mile marker of northbound I-57 and Stephens was arrested.
