BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY) — Gov. Jeff Landry will hold a news conference with Attorney General Liz Murrill scheduled for 2 p.m. at the State Capitol.
The governor and attorney general will discuss the situation with CVS pharmacies, which is the defendant in a class action lawsuit regarding the company’s alleged use of patient information to oppose a series of bills in the Louisiana Legislature.
Landry and Murrill are expected to announce several more lawsuits. In a news release, Murrill said she planned “major legal action” against CVS.
