HARTFORD, Conn. (WWLP) – Just over the state line in Connecticut, former President Barack Obama was in Hartford Tuesday night for a special event.
The event was called An Evening with President Obama.
The 44th president was one of the speakers at the Connecticut forum. The event took place at the Bushnell Performing Arts Center and began at 7:30 p.m. In his speech, Obama spoke about his presidency, his work in the Obama Foundation. He also touched on some of the challenges he faces today.
The event was sold out.
