RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A detainee was found deceased at the Rankin County Jail.

Rankin County Coroner David Ruth said the body of 21-year-old Tevin Rogers was transported from the jail on June 24 for an autopsy. He said there were no signs of trauma.

Bailey Martin, press secretary for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS), said agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) are investigating Rogers’ death.
