(BCN) — An argument between boaters out in waters in Contra Costa County on Sunday ended with a collision injury, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office said.
On Sunday at about 8:50 p.m., Delta Station deputies were dispatched to a reported boating incident in the waterways near North Victoria Canal by Discovery Bay.
According to the sheriff’s office, an argument between two boaters escalated into one of them pursuing the other, causing a collision and injury to the boater being pursued. The injured male was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
This case is under investigation by the sheriff’s office Marine Services Unit. Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to call 925-383-4906.
