COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – A crash that involved a Columbus Fire Department training vehicle reportedly happened near Airport Thruway on Tuesday.
Around 6:50 a.m., a report came in about a crash that happened in front of a Burger King on Airport Thruway.
Columbus Fire and EMS Deputy Chief of Operations Daniel Macon spoke with WRBL News 3 Tuesday morning and confirmed that the crash involved a Fire and EMS vehicle.

The driver of the city vehicle was reportedly not injured and has returned to work, but the Fire and EMS truck suffered significant damage. The driver of the Fire and EMS truck was also not at fault, according to Macon.
No injuries were reported in the crash Tuesday morning.
