Ozark County man killed when motorcycle hits deer in Newton County

An Ozark County man was killed recently when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a deer in Newton County. The Arkansas State Police identified the victim as 66-year-old Joe Watkins of Dora.





According to the report, the crash happened when Watkins’ motorcycle collided with a deer and fell on its side.

The crash happened on Arkansas State Highway 43 at 10:37 the evening of May 31, but the report has just been released.
