Louisiana leaders react after LSU Tigers secure eighth national baseball championship

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The LSU Tigers defeated the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers 5–3 in Game 2 of the College World Series Finals on June 22, clinching the 2025 National Championship.

Louisiana leaders praised LSU’s baseball team after the Tigers secured the program’s eighth national championship.
