The Mountain Home Charity Golf Classic tournament wrapped up earlier this month and a check of $36,700 was presented by Arvest, a tournament sponsor, to ASU-Mountain Home Chancellor Dr. Bentley Wallace.

The funds were raised during the annual charity golf tournament held at Big Creek Golf and Country Club on June 7-8, and will assist with equipment funding and program needs for the ASUMH’s Technical Center.

ASUMH’s Czeschin-Newth Workforce Development Center, located on the Dr. Robert L. Myers Technical Education Campus, works with local industry and other employers to develop technical programs needed to serve our region. These programs also serve the area high schools through a secondary center arrangement.

Over the past 24 years, the tournament has raised over $620,000.
