Sinkhole stops traffic in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. — A sinkhole formed in Grant County on Saturday, halting traffic on 2400 East 950 South.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has asked people travelling in the area to avoid the portion of the road impacted by the sinkhole, if possible.

“Crews have been notified and are responding,” police wrote in a Facebook post. “Your safety is our priority. Stay alert and drive carefully.”
