BIG COUNTRY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Seven counties in the Big Country are currently under a burn ban due to fire concerns.
Texas A&M Forest Service has reported that the following counties are currently under a burn ban:
Meteorologists from BigCountryHomepage.com are expressing their concerns about the danger of fire amid the windy conditions in the area.
“The U.S. Drought Monitor looks good, but we’ve got to consider fuel load and we’ve got to consider winds,” KTAB/KRBC Meteorologist Pete Beretta said.
