CULLMAN, Ala. – The main branch of the Cullman County Public Library System (CCPLS) will be host multiple free events in conjunction with its Summer Reading Program.
CCPLS Assistant Director Shelby Creekmore said there will be two special programs for the Summer Reading Program next week.
“Our ‘Color Our World’ event will be Tuesday, June 24, at 10 a.m., and we will host the Cook Museum with their Ambassador Animals exhibit and they will be bringing turtles,” she said. “Then, on Thursday, June 26, at 10 a.m., we will host the Alabama Extension for their program, ‘Eat a Rainbow,’ where we will learn about colorful foods. These programs are free to the public, family friendly, and visitors do not have to be registered to attend.”
There are no fees for the public to attend these programs. Also, participants do not need to bring anything to attend the program.
“Other upcoming events are Snead’s Farmhouse on July 1, and Barry Stewart Mann, the Storyteller on July 3,” Creekmore said.
