2 of 3 victims airlifted after pin-in crash in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two people were rescued from their vehicle after it crashed into an orchard near Strathmore on Saturday, the Tulare County Fire Department announced.

Firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed into an orange grove near Road 248 and Avenue 200, east of Strathmore.

Crews found two people pinned in the vehicle who needed to be extricated using the Jaws of Life. They were eventually airlifted to a local hospital along with a third victim who was transported via ground.

The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been released.
