(KRON) — San Francisco Police Department officers arrested four suspects and seized more than 5 pounds of drugs and $52,589 in cash while serving a search warrant at a home on the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Way in Oakland on Wednesday.
Oakland residents Daniela Nairoby Hernandez-Barahona, 20, Delvin Danel Barahona-Centeno, 52, Jhonatan Santiago Dias, 20, and Gustavo Benjamin Chavezmeza, 31, were all arrested for drug-related charges or outstanding warrants during the raid.
The seized drugs included 4.87 pounds of fentanyl, SFPD said. Scales and drug-packaging materials were also seized from the home. Acting SFPD Chief Paul Yep said the seized drugs were bound for San Francisco.
“I want to thank our officers for getting this massive haul of drugs off our streets,” Yep said. “These drugs were destined for San Francisco and operations like these make a significant impact on keeping our city safe and clean.”
The arrests were part of a multi-agency mission, which involved SFPD’s Narcotics Division and Drug Enforcement Administration, the California Highway Patrol Drug Task Force and the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department. The bust comes one day after officers made dozens of arrests during a drug bust in the Tenderloin.
