CHICAGO — Chicago police are investigating after a man was shot in River North on Friday night.
Police said the shooting happened just after 7 p.m. in the 400 block of North Wells Street near West Hubbard Street.
CPD says a 36-year-old male got into a physical altercation on the sidewalk with an unknown suspect. The suspect pulled out a firearm and fired shots at the man, striking him in the left arm.
The victim was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.
No one is currently in custody. Area Three Detectives are investigating.
