SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—”Robinson’s Rescue,” a cat adoption event, is being held at the Robinson Film Center in downtown Shreveport.
“With shelters and rescues currently at capacity and puppy and kitten season in full swing, we have an urgent opportunity to help. By finding loving homes for already spayed or neutered adoptable pets, we can prevent the overpopulation of unwanted litters and relieve pressure on our local shelters and rescues so they can continue to provide lifesaving care,” a press release stated.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 21, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Robinson Film Center, 617 Texas St. in downtown Shreveport.
“Join Robinson’s Rescue at The Robinson Film Center for an adoption event like no other! There will be door prizes, a fun kiddie corner, and plenty of feline-inspired fun, costumes encouraged!” the release stated.
