Man wanted for burglarizing truck in Jackson neighborhood

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are working to identify the man who burglarized a truck on Carolwood Drive.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the crime occurred around 1:30 a.m. on June 11 in the 5000 block of Carolwood Drive.

According to Brown, surveillance video showed that the suspect frequently comes around the area about twice a month on consecutive nights. He was wearing blue shots, a blue T-shirt and high-top tennis shoes with red soles.

The video showed the suspect carrying what appeared to be a purse that could contain burglary tools. Brown said the man is known to look through residents’ mailboxes.
