SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — DixieMaze Farms is closing after 26 years of providing a family-friendly experience with corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and other activities, and is having a final Fall Festival before retirement.
DixieMaze Farm owner Mike Billings invites the community to their final fall festival, “go out with a bang and honor the beautiful legacy we’ve built together,” as their last event before retirement.
“This fall we will prepare to close this chapter on an unforgettable journey and with great emotion, we want to share that it will be the last Fall Fest at DixieMaze Farms as the owners are retiring and moving on to a new chapter in their life,”
“Over the years, we have watched families create cherished memories amidst the vibrant corn mazes, festive hayrides, school field trips, and our live on the vine pumpkin patch. This is not just an event; it’s a celebration of community, laughter, and the joy of togetherness.”
said DixieMaze Farms owner, Mike Billings, via social media.
Guests can enjoy a family-friendly experience on the ‘Pumpkin Express,’ taking a scenic ride around the farm.
According to their website, Families can also enjoy the pumpkin patch, which is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until dark, and on Sundays from 10 a.m. until dark throughout their Fall Season. Visitors can select one pumpkin from the patch for a discounted price of $6, while supplies last.
