JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Three victims of a murder-suicide at a Janesville apartment complex on Tuesday have been identified by authorities.
The Rock County Medical Examiner said Julia Cvicker, 25, Jahvarius Wicks, 21, and Scott Roberts, 55, were pronounced dead at the scene at the Aspen Square Apartments, in the 2600 block of N. Pontiac Drive.
Police were initially told there was a “family problem” at the complex, prior to reports of shots being fired within.
Police said when officers entered the apartment, they found an unresponsive adult in the doorway with a visible gunshot wound.
Officers then found three additional adults who had been shot within the apartment.
Police said the surviving adult suffered life-threatening injuries and was being treated at a local hospital.
Authorities determined that one of the individuals involved shot the other three before killing themselves, and a domestic relationship between two of them was revealed as a possible motive.
Police did not identify the suspect.
