ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A ‘most wanted’ suspect accused of committing a murder in Abilene has been booked into the Taylor County Jail after being on the run for months.
Ivonyai Lamb was booked into the Taylor County Jail Thursday for Murder and Aggravated Assault a month after he was taken into custody in North Carolina by members of the New Hanover County SWAT team. He remains in jail on a $1 million bond.

Lamb is accused of shooting and killing Ramiel Sanders, 46, at the Cedar Creek Apartment Complex on Denton Street in February 2025.
Witnesses report hearing multiple gunshots and then one saw a suspect flee the scene in a grey truck.

Both Lamb and his sister, Keighvoucia Lamb, were featured fugitives on Abilene Crime Stoppers’ Abilene’s Wanted Criminals list.
