21-year-old woman in critical condition after shooting in North Philadelphia

(WPHL) — A woman is fighting for her life in the hospital after she was shot in North Philadelphia on Wednesday evening.

According to Philadelphia Police, the 21-year-old victim was shot at 6:16 p.m. on the 800 block of Watts Street.

The woman was found unconscious with a gunshot wound to the head. She was transported by police to Jefferson Hospital, where she is currently listed in critical condition.

At this time, police are working to figure out the motive and who the shooter is.
