Philadelphia Soccer 2026 talks events and happenings ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Philadelphia is a huge sports town and you can just feel the energy and excitement with the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, happening now in our area.

As we kick off the countdown to nextr summer’s 2026 Fifa World Cup, we wanted to learn more about events and happenings in our area that are building the anticipation and celebrating the fun. Meg Kane, CEO and Host City executive of Philadelphia Soccer 2026 joined us in the PHL17 studio to tell us all about it.

On the event website, it reads “Welcome America is excited to partner with the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Soccer 2026 for a block party outside Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field. This new block party event is designed to underscore the anticipation and excitement leading up to 2026 – an unprecedented summer of celebration as these three organizations prepare to concurrently deliver three of the biggest events Philadelphia has ever witnessed.  Go Go Gadjet and Mr Hollywood DJ will ignite the crowd as guests enjoy sweet and savory treats from some of Philly’s favorite food trucks, sip a beverage at the beer garden, free Herr’s chip giveaways, play games, and more! Fans of all ages can test their baseball skills at the Phillies speed pitch or their soccer skills at the Philadelphia Soccer 2026 Liberty Skills Challenge, a unique activation hosted to celebrate FIFA World Cup 26™ coming to Philadelphia next summer. This interactive experience features fun, fast-paced stations focused on shooting and agility, and concluding with a photo-worthy celebration! Guests will have the opportunity to Rest and Recharge with Independence Blue Cross and enjoy nutritional takeaways in partnership with Sharing Excess. Score your spot in the front section of the July 4th concert!
